E-Fulfillment Centre

The proposed e-fulfilment centre at MS Dubai South, operated by NOON, is designed to serve as a comprehensive logistics hub for the region’s leading e-commerce platform. In addition to functioning as a traditional free zone warehouse, the facility plays a key role in fulfilling local and regional customer orders, as well as managing product returns. The centre primarily handles a wide range of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), including fashion, beauty products, electronics, and books. It is also equipped with specialized storage provisions for temperature-sensitive and hazardous goods within the FMCG sector.

The facility is designed with advanced storage and material handling systems to optimize efficiency. It features adjustable pallet racking, both for Very Narrow Aisles (VNA) and standard aisles, multi-tier shelving, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) for pallets and bins. Conveyor systems with multidirectional sorters are integrated to streamline the flow of goods, while order-picking is enhanced by Pick-to-Light technology to boost accuracy and speed. The warehouse is equipped with various material handling equipment, including counterbalance trucks, VNA trucks, reach trucks, ride-on trucks, conveyors, and cargo lifts, ensuring smooth internal transport and efficient goods movement.
