Pearl Wisdom School

The client approached AWAJ to design the school (Indian Curriculum, KG – 12) which will offer host of facilities, including outdoor/ indoor sports facilities, at an affordable fee. The site had an old school which was being demolished to make way for the new school. It was a large parcel of land in the middle of densely populated residential area.

However when the affection plan was received, the land size got reduced to 18,448 m2. due to parking provision along the plot periphery. This posed a new challenge for AWAJ as the provision of outdoor facilities was not to be compromised. This was in addition to the inherent challenges of designing the school to maintain gender separation and clarity in circulation pattern of kindergarten, primary, middle and secondary school.

AWAJ has successfully integrated the indoor and outdoor facilities in and around the educational areas. The sports facilities included a 60x40m football field, 100m dash tracks, half Olympic-size swimming pool, international size outdoor tennis court and a FIBA size indoor basketball court.
