Lulu Central Logistic Hub

The client, Lulu Logistics LLC, has embarked on a large expansion plan to support their current and future ‘Retail’ facilities here in the UAE. On the basis of this expansion drive, they have acquired plots within the Dubai Industrial Park Zone to create their Central Logistic Hub facility.

Currently the adjacent plots are being consolidated for the purpose of construction of Lulu’s Logistics Dry Store Facility and Lulu’s Logistics Cold Store Facility.

The facility shall be a fully air-conditioned environment and shall operate 24 hours. Offices will cater to administering the operations for both of these facilities and therefore have adequate staff/worker amenities provided.

The sole purpose of the facility is to facilitate the re-distribution of products to the Lulu Retail outlets in Dubai. In Dry Store, a small quantity of re-packing will be carried out in the facility as well for dry goods such as ‘pulses, grains etc’ from large bags into smaller packages. The Cold Store will be having a small quantity of re-packing process but the primary storage in this facility will be Fresh Fruits, Vegetables and similar inventory (Dry vegetables, potatoes, onions etc).

The Dry Store site shall have 2 points of access and the Cold Store site shall have 1 main point of access which will be secured by having Security Control cabins & gates. The clear height maintained below the Ridge Sheet is 13.70m for both stores.
